今年的三八婦女節，民間團體女性遊行（Women's March）號召全美女性上街抗議美國領導人暴力言語、爭取經濟公平等。這個原為紐約紡織女工抗議惡劣環境與低薪，要求終止（put an end to）不平等待遇的國際運動，如今已是平權意識的發聲日。
