1.緬甸

In Myanmar, you make a kissing sound, to get a beer.
在緬甸，要點啤酒時要發出親嘴的聲音

2.日本

在日本餐廳絕對不可以做的事情就是
One thing you can never do at Japanese restaurant is

蝦殼不要放在桌上，然後不要大聲講話
Don’t leave shells or bones on the table. And don’t speak aloud.

3.英國

In England, it’s considered rude to start your meal before everyone else has sat down and started their meal.
在英國，如果你在大家還沒坐下開動前就先開始吃，是很沒禮貌的

It’s also considered rude to eat with your elbows on the table.
如果吃東西把手肘放桌上也是很不禮貌的

Another thing is you can’t leave the table before you or anyone else is finished.
還有，如果你或其他人還沒吃完前，是不可以離開桌子的

4.南非

There’s this tradition in South Africa, if everyone sits around the table, the children are not allowed to speak.
南非有個傳統，就是大家坐在一起吃飯時，小孩是不可以說話的

We have the saying “Kinders word gesien en nie gehoor nie”, it means that children are seen and not heard.
我們有句俗話「Kinders word gesien en nie gehoor nie」，意思是說只有看見小孩但聽不到小孩

It’s a type of respect, and tradition.
這是一個尊重和傳統

5.法國

In France, we don’t burp at the table.
在法國，我們不可以在餐桌上打嗝

Or eat with your mouth open.
或者張開大嘴吃東西

6.美國

When you go out to eat in America, you have to tip.
當你在美國的餐廳時，要給小費

Usually about 20%, so if your bill is $10, you leave $12.
通常是20%小費，所以如果你賬單10塊，那你總共要給12塊

In America, do NOT snap at your waiter or waitress.

In Poland, no smacking your lips and no slurping.

No sniffing, and no spitting.
不用力吸鼻子、不可以吐痰

8.越南

Well in my country when you go to a noodle restaurant.
在越南，當你去有些麵店的時候

And you have your bowl of noodles, you can’t finish everything up you have to leave a little bit.
當你吃麵時，你不可以整碗吃光光，你要留一點點

Because if you finish everything up, it will be considered impolite.
因為如果你整碗吃光，表示你很小氣，都不留一點點給別人的感覺

9.香港

波蘭人：我聽說在台灣或在香港，吃飯的時候骨頭可以丟在桌子上，你覺得呢？
I heard in Taiwan or Hong Kong, you can just leave bones on the food table. What do you think?

香港人：要看情況！有些人覺得可以、有些人覺得不行
It depends. Some think it’s ok. Some don’t.

波蘭人：在歐洲不行
You can’t do it in Europe.

10.加拿大

So when you are in Canada.
當你在加拿大

Don’t forget to tip.
在外用餐也別忘給小費

Some of my students once forgot, and the waiter actually chased them out of the restaurant and yelled at them for not giving a tip.
我之前有些學生有一次忘記給小費，服務生還特別衝出餐廳去罵他們
