When I came to Taiwan I thought 7-11 was the best thing ever until I came across that stationery store for the first time.
我剛到台灣時，我以為7-11是最棒的店，直到我在轉角遇見了「生活百貨」

And I was surprised. And excited...so excited.
我整個大震驚！超級無敵的興奮

1.美國（女）

So when I left Taiwan the one thing I missed… THE MOST was the stationery stores.
我之前回美國後，我最想念的台灣東西...就是「生活百貨」

You can get anything there.
在那邊什麼都買的到

Literally a lifestyle store, you can buy tape.
超生活化的商店，你可以買到膠帶

You can buy soap, you can buy towels, hangers.
你可以買輝哥皇家牌香皂、你可以買毛巾、衣架

Even things that I have never even imagined that I needed, they have it.
甚至是我連想都沒想過的商品，它們都有賣

Anytime I need something, I just go to the stationery store.
只要我需要東西，我就去生活百貨報到

So the closest thing I can think of to compare this to in the U.S. is like a Walmart or Target but it’s totally different.
在美國像這樣的店應該是Walmart或Target

Those stores are so big and they sell like other stuff.
那些量販店超級大，還賣其他不同的東西

Stationery stores in Taiwan are all compact and even the paper’s so cute.
台灣的生活百貨麻雀雖小五臟俱全，連賣的紙都可愛

They don’t sell that at like Walmart or Target.
Walmart和Target是不會賣這種好料的

I’m just so excited.
講到讓我興奮的渾身顫抖

2.美國（男）

I can get food. I can buy alarm clocks I won’t use. I will buy watches.
我可以買到吃的、我可以買我不會用的鬧鐘、我可以買手錶

And batteries, and hammers and deodorant.
還有電池、榔頭和腋下除臭劑

I could spend all day there.
我可以在那待一整天

Just looking through everything, most of them are in multiple floors.
就慢慢逛，大部份的百貨還好幾樓

I need all of it.
我每樣都要，什麼都不奇怪

Everything I can’t live without it.
每一樣...我的生活不能沒有它

(It’s a great place to meet dates.)
（還是個可以遇見好對象的好場所）

3.立陶宛

I don’t know why people are obsessed about stationery stores.
我不懂為什麼會有人對生活百貨這麼著迷

Okay, you can find many things, but do you really actually need everything?
對！你可以買到很多東西，但你真的需要那些東西嗎？

Do you really need that rubber finger?
你真的需要那個塑膠指套嗎？

4.波蘭

When you enter the stationery shop in Taiwan.
當你走進台灣的生活百貨時

You can see the cuteness overload. There are many colors of different things.
你會發現店裡滿滿的可愛風格，不同商品都有很多不同顏色

In Poland you can find maybe five basic colors.
波蘭文具店商品通常只有五種基本顏色

But in Taiwan you have many shades of colors.
但台灣的就有很多不同顏色

5.加拿大

I used to live right next to the stationery store, and I used to go there most days.
我之前就住在生活百貨的隔壁，所以我常去逛是很合理的

Studying Chinese is really hard.
學中文其實很難

And if you have like an adorable notebook and an adorable pencil. It makes it way easier but also, you can go to the stationery store and you need like.
如果你可以有一本可愛筆記本+可愛的鉛筆陪伴你學中文，人生會比較歡樂

Only a pencil and then you are in there for like 6 hours, it’s like walk into Narnia’s closet and then you just come out, you are like, man I only spend 10NT.
有時候我去逛生活百貨就像進到納尼亞傳奇的衣櫃，逛了六小時只買了一支鉛筆，也只花我10塊台幣

I had a great time, but it eas not productive.
雖然還是逛得很爽，但是很浪費時間
