台灣交通超亂？老外：人行道停滿機車、「小綠人」讓我過馬路好緊張...

編按：前不久吵得沸沸揚揚的台北市交通問題，搞得柯文哲一個頭兩個大。雖然目前已提出一些改善措施，但交通仍是地狹人稠的台灣長期以來的問題...關於台灣交通，老外怎麼看呢？

1.巴拉圭

我覺得在台灣，尤其是台北
I think here in Taiwan, especially in Taipei.

交通吵雜外，也很多機車
The traffic is loud, and (there are) a lot of motorcycles.

因為這是個人口多的小國家
Because it’s a small country, a lot of people live here.

巴拉圭比較大、台灣比較小
Paraguay is bigger than Taiwan,

可是台灣比較方便，因為交通有捷運MRT還有很多摩托車
but it’s more convenient to travel in Taiwan because of its MRT system and easy access to scooters.

2.墨西哥

The scooters, that’s the main thing for me that I think it’s the worst.
我覺得我最不喜歡的就是機車

They get pretty messy when it comes to driving, so I wouldn’t recommend Taiwanese traffic especially with scooters.
有些台灣人騎車的方式我真的不敢恭維

3.英格蘭

I didn’t come to Taiwan to moan about the traffic.
我其實不是來台灣抱怨它的交通

But I do have one or two problems with the traffic system here.
但是我對這裡的交通環境有點意見

When you are crossing the road, and there’s a green man.
當你過馬路，號誌燈上有個小綠人告訴你可以過

People can still turn, and drive towards you, you have to watch out for that.
但是駕駛還是可以轉過來，你自己要小心不要被撞

If you do miss the green man, you’ll have to wait 90 seconds, you’ll have to watch the time tick down on the traffic lights,
如果你錯過了小綠人，就要等大概90秒，或你在剩沒幾秒的時候要過馬路

and that could be quite a nerving.
看著它一直倒數還蠻緊張的

There are lots of scooters everywhere, people drive scooters.
在台灣很多人騎機車

I think because the license is so cheap and so easy to get, whereas cars you have to do a bit more work.
我覺得有很多機車族是因為機車駕照比汽車好考

There are scooters parked all down the pavement, you have to walk down the middle of the road most of the time.
人行道常常停一堆機車，讓我們有時候走路真的不方便

4.印尼

人家說台灣的交通非常非常的不好
Some say Taiwan’s traffic is so horrible.

可是我請你們來印尼住一下
But I advise you guys to come to Indonesia.

其實你們會發現台灣的交通...沒有那麼的不好
Then you will realize it is actually not that bad in Taiwan.
