Being here for a while a lot of us foreigners enjoy night market food.來這裡一段時間了，我們很多外國人都很喜歡夜市食物 And we know it’s a huge part of the culture here but wonder if the standards of the environment are something people turn a blind eye to.因為夜市是一個很知名的在地文化，我們想知道大家是否因為如此就對夜市環境視而不見 First off, I want to say that most of us really enjoy the food here.首先，我要講我們真的很愛夜市小吃 But being here for a while and observing the night market culture raises a lot of questions for us.但其實來了一段時間後，就發現其實我們對夜市文化產生了不少疑問 1.小強及滿溢的垃圾、找錢和炒菜同隻手 I’m sure people who’ve been to night markets before will have noticed the cockroaches, the over flowing garbage cans.我相信有去過夜市的人，都會注意到地上的小強和滿出來的垃圾桶 cigarette butts, and vendors who handle money with the same hands they use to cook the food.煙蒂、和用手找錢給你，再用同一支手繼續炒菜的小販 Dishes and miscellaneous items to cook the food are placed on the sidewalk.炒菜的鍋碗瓢盆就這麼放在人行道旁邊 A scooter drivers by and adds my favorite other ingredient-dust.一台摩托車就這麼騎進來夜市幫我加料–灰塵 And despite all the circumstances, night market food is still great! How is that possible guys?!雖然有這些環境因素存在，夜市食物為什麼還可以這麼好吃？ 2.過多的塑膠袋 Another thing we’ve noticed is that if you get anything in the night market, chances are, you’ll be using at least one plastic bag.另外我們發現，如果你要在夜市買東西，通常你會至少拿到一個塑膠袋 If you are getting take-out, you’ll be given a plastic bag to wrap the food, and then another plastic bag to carry it. I think it’s too much.如果你要外帶，有時候給你塑膠袋包食物，然後再給你一個塑膠袋包著你的外帶，我覺得這樣太多了 We’ve been to different night markets in different cities and the conditions are about the same across the country.我們去過不同城市的夜市，發現這些情況都大同小異 Don’t get us wrong, we really love your food and we just want more people to come here and enjoy it.不要誤會我們，我們真的喜歡台灣食物，但我們也喜歡能有更多人來觀光和享受美食 All of our countries have our own dirty or unpleasant aspects.
