Most of these stir-fried places advertise that each plate is about 100 NT.
我看過不少熱炒店都標榜100塊台幣

But in fact, most of these things on the list are over there’s only about 6 items on here that are actually 100 NT, why is that?
但事實上幾乎所有的菜都超過100塊台幣,只有6樣左右的青菜類是100,為什麼?

1.冰鎮苦瓜

Last time I threw up after I ate bitter melon.
上次我吃苦瓜然後就吐了

I thought it’s cooked, but it’s not.
我以為是煮的,原來是生的

It’s really really bitter and I feel like, cooking it makes it lose some of its bitterness.
這超級無敵苦,但我想煮過可能可以讓它的苦味不會那麼重

This sauce makes it better so i’m gonna just soak it.
蘸這醬好像比較好,所以我要蘸好蘸滿

2.水晶魚一夜干

Dried fish strips. A bit hard, but it’d great with beer.
水晶魚一夜干吃起來有點硬,像是在吃魷魚乾,很適合當下酒菜

Fried fish skin one night. It’s like dried fish.
炸魚皮一夜干,真的是魚乾的口感

Like the one you get at 7-11.

3.薑絲大腸

Ginger with pork intestine. Strong vinegar with chewy intestine.
薑絲大腸,濃濃的醋味加上很有嚼勁的大腸

The dish is a little bit sour and then the pork intestine is a little bit chewy but not too hard.
這有點兒酸,但這蕩氣迴腸的豬大腸很有嚼勁、也不硬

4.三杯田雞

Stewed frog legs with ginger and wine in casserole may look scary but it tastes like chicken and the basil really good.
三杯田雞看起來很可怕,吃起來很像雞肉的味道,然後九層塔的味道很香

Oh everybody is right, it does taste like chicken.
大家說得沒錯,真的吃起來就像雞肉

5.宮保雞米花

Kung Pao chicken. But it’s made with sweet and sour sauce.
宮保雞米花,就像糖醋排骨的口味換成雞肉口味的

It kinda tastes like American Chinese food.
吃起來有點像美式的中國菜

6.三杯米血糕

Stewed pig blood cakes with ginger and wine in casserole salty and spicy. You can’t really taste the blood cake.
三杯米血糕鹹鹹辣辣,但吃不出米血的味道

That’s actually really good.
這真的還蠻好吃的

7.宮保甜不辣

Kung Pao tempura. But it’s more like peanut flavor chewing gum.
有點像在吃花生口味的口香糖

Its sauce is very strange. It numbers your tongue.
它的醬很奇怪,吃下去之後你的嘴巴有麻麻的感覺

I think it will be better without the sauce.
我覺得不要蘸醬比較好吃
