Today, I want to share with you, what Taiwan has taught me.

1.強大包容性

OK, so number one is that being different is good
首先，台灣有很強大的包容性

so being different can be an advantage.
所以就算你跟別人不一樣也沒問題

I used to live and work in Hong Kong for 5 years and
之前我在香港生活和工作五年

the unique thing in Taiwan is that people are very open towards foreigners.
台灣很特別的是他們對外國人的接受度很高

They like foreigners, they are very interested.
他們喜歡外國人，對外國人也很好奇

Because I think in different countries is like,
因為不是所有的國家都這麼友善

you don’t feel very welcome, so you will be, you will lose confidence.
有時候我們會以為他們不喜歡我們，所以就會變得沒自信了

and in Taiwan, it doesn’t happen.
在台灣就不會有這種問題

2.態度很重要

Number two is that keeping a good attitude is very important.
第二就是有「好的態度」很重要

Taiwanese people are very very hard working
台灣人工作真的很辛苦

and I think even after a very long shooting day.
就算拍了一整天的照片

I talk about like, 10-15 hours.
我指，拍了10到15個小時後

People are still having a good attitude, people are still smiling, they are laughing.
大家還是有很好的態度，沒有因為工時長就笑不出來

I think for foreigners, for Western people, right? Or European people like me.
我覺得對外國人來說，像對我這個歐洲人來講

We sometimes feel like Asians are a little fake in the meaning of, they are too polite, they are always smiling, right?
我們有時候覺得亞洲人太客套了！因為他們總是有禮貌地在微笑

European people usually don’t do that, if we don’t have to smile, we don’t smile.
歐洲人通常不會這樣，不需要笑、我們是不會笑的

3.親切超重要

Number three is the importance of kindness.
第三就是「親切」的重要性

I used to live in Hong Kong. I liked it, but it’s too stressful
我住過香港五年，我很喜歡香港，可是香港讓我覺得壓力很大

so I wanted to take a break and I was modeling in HK.
我之前在香港當模特兒，後來想要休息一下

I wanted to go to another country, to try to build up my career, and to see more, of course experience more.
我想去別的國家闖看看，去體驗更多新的事物

And I was thinking between Japan, China, because it’s a huge market, or maybe Taiwan.
我當時在挑日本、中國（市場很大）或台灣

Why I chose Taiwan is because a lot of friends told me many good things about Taiwan. The first thing, how friendly people here are.
我最後會選擇台灣是因為我很多朋友都推薦這裡，因為這裡的人情味

Yeah, so I ended up here, I’m here for 8 months and I’m still gonna stay.
所以我一下就來這裡八個月了，當然我會繼續留下來

People are super kind, I think it’s very important! Always be kind.
台灣人真的很友善！我覺得對人要有禮貌很重要

Taiwan taught me to...it’s almost like welcome kindness and give kindness back.
台灣讓我體會到以禮待人的重要性
